Camera Fun

Age: 3-5
Location: Indoor, Outdoor
Set-up: Planned

Materials:

  • Small cardboard box
  • Tape
  • Water bottle cap
  • Toilet paper roll
  • Scissors

Set-up:

Make a hole in the middle of a box the size of a toilet paper roll. Make the same hole in the opposite side of the box so that you can look through the box from either side. Fit the toilet paper roll through one of the holes and just 1 cm into the other side so that it fits tightly. Tape a water bottle cap, button or small object to the top of the box to serve as a button.

Play:

If you have paints or markers, have your child decorate the outside of the camera. If not, show your child how to peep through the hole and let his or her imagination drive the game!
